So, how has your week been? Mine had successes and failures. Started out pretty good on Tuesday, but got sick Tuesday night - something I ate! And I wouldn't count that as a good weight loss tip - it's fast but pretty drastic! Down 4 pounds Thursday morning. Obeying all the rules, but this week was Teacher Appreciation Week - lots of goodies every day - and today I succumbed to the chocolates they sent home. Considering all the junk that's been flying around, I consider that a qualified success.

ReplyDeleteThank you Barbara for getting the ball rolling. I've been needing to make some changes for a long time, but have had no gumption.
This week has been a real wake-up. I've done some exercise, but my biggest acheivement has been to change what I'm eating. A friend told me about eating "raw." It's just what it sounds like, eating uncooked fruits/veggies/nuts/whatever you want that's not processed/cooked. I've just been doing it for lunch. My favorite meal has been a lettuce salad with cucs, avacado, black beans and topped with lots of fresh pico de gallo. The beans aren't raw, but it's tasty and quite filling.
I'm down 5 pounds since Tuesday, but this week will be the real test.
